THESIS

My Honors Thesis was an exploration in developing a childcare and educational facility in a low income area of Houston that would benefit the community. The programming modeled off of the Harlem Children's Zone created by Geoffrey Canada, would include facilities for students ranging from infant to high school with the goal of 100% graduation.
The design of the building was an investigation into prefabrication and the use of a small kit of parts to achieve all the structural and conditioning goals.
